Production: USA, 1982
Director: Larry Cohen
Category: Horror
Cohen’s bloody story of a prehistoric Mexican flying lizard (Q stands for Quetzalcoatl) nesting in New York’s Chrysler Building is a pulp saurian masterpiece starring David Carradine, and features such delights as topless girls plucked from rooftop swimming-pools and bitten-off heads raining down on the streets of Manhattan. The film’s promotional poster featured original art by comics legend Boris Vallejo.
