An early example of “computer horror” – a young outcast unlocks a gateway to demons through his screen. In the same vein as “teen Satanism” horror movies such as Fear No Evil, Trick Or Treat, Rock And Roll Nightmare, Black Roses, Shock Em Dead, and others, whose twisted narratives were echoed in real life by the case of Ricky Kasso, murdered by his teen cohorts in what was described as a Satanic ritual. The Kasso case was directly addressed in Where Evil Dwells (1985), an underground movie by Tommy Turner and David Wojnarowicz.
